REVEREND AND THE MAKERS // TOO TOUGH TO DIE // UNIQUE LULLABY LOVES

Reverend And The Makers are back in full force!

Sheffield rockers return with slammin' gravelly guitar soaked comeback track 'Too Tough To Die' and its fueled with those authentic Reverend And The Makers musical musings that we know and love.

Jon McClure:
We loved the recording abroad thing after the last album. Gives the albums a flavour of their own and so we thought we'd give Thailand a try, take the family and all that. I've been there before and Pete and Carl raved about Bang Saray so we took all the gang out there...."

Too Tough To Die builds you in slowly with an anthemicly driven intro of grungy guitars and some echoing vocals. It then transcends into stadium filling riffs and rugged rock 'n' roll satisfaction! This 90's grunge encompassing track holds its own alongside previous belters 'Heavyweight Champion Of The World' & 'Shine The Light' with some rasping distorted vocals. This record comes in the wake of 6th Studio Album ‘The Death Of A King’, released through Cooking Vinyl on Friday 22nd September.

"Being so far away from home and my family (Laura couldn't come as she was pregnant) meant I was starting to go a bit mental by the end. I kinda feel like some of that comes thru in the tunes a bit too. I’m kind of off trying to recreate ‘Heavyweight Champion of the World’. I'm 35. I have a new set of concerns . I see the world in a different way now so I'm trying to be true to who I am today.”

'The Death Of A King' is set to be a superb comeback following on from previous success of 5 UK Top 20 albums including last release 'Mirrors'. THE DEATH OF A KING and can be pre-ordered from the bands website
