SSE SPOTLIGHT SEARCH

Over the past few weeks Capital South Wales has been immersed with Spotlight with SSE, an ongoing competition to find the next talented artist in South Wales. The winner will win an all encompassing and valuable prize with The Famous Company. An overwhelming amount of artists applied. This then began the whittling to choose just 10 acts, which then lead to an intense period of public voting on Twitter to chop down the competition even further to just three artists. 

The competition and volume of applications were really high to make it into that final three but this triplet of artists managed just that! A variety of acts in the form of Indie four piece, Fire Fences, Solo artist Jade Watts and Singer-Songwriter Kieran Marsh to be precise. 

Last night saw the chance for these three artists to perform live in front of the judges and their final chance to impress as they will decide who wins this amazing prize. Each artist gave it their all after performing numerous tracks. Each brought their own edge to the performance. 

The Winner will be revealed on Friday on Capital Breakfast with Matt, Polly and Geraint. So make sure you tune in to see who will be crowned the best unsigned artists in South Wales.
