Alfie joins us once again, following on from recent heartbreaking and poignant dedication to the Refugee Crisis with 'The Last Holiday', with brand new release 'I Guess That's Love These Day's'. This is poles apart from his previous ventures in upbeat indie jaunt The Holloways but in a great way!
I Guess That's Love These Days is wonderfully written to take you back to memories and stories of you're own. The song telling the tale of breaking relationships, moving on and embracing what's to come, sits wonderfully with the instrumentals which flow and fit perfectly, almost replicating dream like feels and enhances the true reminiscence of the track. There is a clear new writing direction here which eludes nostalgia and almost feels slightly 60's folk-esque which is a really exciting road Alfie seems to be going down. Accompanied with a visually stimulating video, its a beautiful and fresh new single that lays nicely with the serenity.
I for one am really looking forward to further releases from Alfie Jackson and I am adoring the sound so far!
